Blizzardstar ✻ HawkClan

Name

Blizzardstar

Reasoning

His fur is a light grey

Age

Thirty Moons

Gender

Tom

Alliance

HawkClan

Rank

Leader

Physique

Short description

Long-furred light gray tom with yellow eyes

Physical description

Comparing Blizzardstar to your average-sized warrior is like comparing a badger to a wolf. He's huge. It isn't all fur, either! His sheer size is enough to send any kit scurrying back to it's mother. Mentors from the other Clans point him out to their apprentices, saying to remember him and to never take him on alone. They say to always have a partner, because he can't focus on two cats at once.

His size isn't the only thing dangerous about him, though. Blizzardstar has claws and teeth just like any cat, and he knows how to use them. His pelt is light gray, which is where he gets his name from. It's the same faded, colorless gray as a blizzard that you can barely see your whiskers in front of your face. Eyes as bright as the sun give him quick sight, and the color is the yellow of a sunflower.

The length of his pelt is unique. Well, not unique unique. He's certainly not the only long-haired cat in HawkClan, let alone the entire forest! But none of his family members that he's met has it. Neither of his parents had siblings, so he doesn't have any aunts or uncles to compare it to, and both sides of his grandparents had already been dead when he was born. The closest he could think of was Brackenfang's fluffy pelt, but not even that was long-haired.

Personality

Positive: Loyal, Funny, Fatherly

Perhaps it's a side effect of his past, but Blizzardstar is twice as loyal as anyone else. He gives everything his all, whether it's hunting or fighting or caring for his Clanmates. He's never turned down helping the medicine cat gather herbs, or caring for the elders when the apprentices needed a break. Despite his loyalties, though, he'd be a hypocrite if he said that he didn't think outsiders or half-Clans had a place within the Clans.

He tries to find the humor in anything, no matter the situation. It's Blizzardstar's belief that, if everyone had a smile on their faces despite what's happening around them, it wouldn't be so bad. He tries to give them that smile by being funny. Half of the time, this former warrior is a downright riot! The other half, he tries too hard. He cracks jokes and one-liners that aren't all that funny, or are just inappropriate. Whenever he's not feeling that hot, others around him can tell.

Blizzardstar will never let any HawkClan kit, go through what he did. He's become something of a father figure to all of the young ones in the nursery. Or at least, he's attempting to. If he thinks any mother or father is mistreating a kit, he'll tell them off. No kit should have to feel like they're not good enough. Despite his easy-going nature, he knows when to be the good guy and when to be the bad guy. It's better to act disappointed than angry, because anger never teaches anything but anger.

Negative: Brooding, Scary, Afraid

There are things in Blizzardstar's past that he often takes the time to look back on and reflect. He'd think and wonder and ask himself, "Did I do the right thing? Could it have ended any differently?" At these times, he just needs to be alone. He'll disappear without telling anyone where he's going, and just find a place to wallow in his grief and anger and angst.

While normally he's all sunshine and daisies, Blizzardstar is one scary dude when he's angry. He's already huge to begin with, so imagine him all puffed up and snarling! He knows better than anyone that sometimes words can hurt more than claws, but occasionally he wants nothing more than to feel the rip of the offender's fur beneath his claws. Sometimes he goes through with it, sometimes he doesn't. Each time though, he feels disgusted with himself.

Every time he feels the need to get violent, he goes back to his mother. It's a fear, as irrational as it is, that one day he'll turn out like her. Bitter and angry and ambitious to the point where he'd hurt his Clanmates to get what he wants. Whitefrost had used words as much as claws to inflict damage, both on Blizzardstar and those around him. He doesn't want to be like that, but sometimes he thinks that's what he's becoming. It's all a load of fox-dung, but not something he can help.

The past

History

   Before Life

Whitefrost was a light gray and tabby she-cat with amber eyes. She was ambitious and smart, with all the cunning and cruelty of a fox. She hated the other Clans with a passion, and believed that the only way to keep them away was with fear. She wanted to be deputy, and then leader. But the only way to do that was to earn the Clan's trust and respect. Unfortunately, that wasn't as easy as she'd have preferred. Her Clanmates sensed that something was off with her, and were quick to deny her any power. So she got a pawn.

Brackenfang was a dark gray and fluffy tom with blue eyes. He was respected and powerful, with much sway over the Clan. His biggest flaw, however, was his attraction to Whitefrost. When she propositioned him, he didn't pause to think about the consequences or the catch. They became mates, and his life became perfect. Whitefrost slowly manipulated him. She used him to claim that the Clan merely misunderstood her. She used him to claim that she only had the Clan's best interests at heart.

Still, they were wary. They trusted and respected her more than ever, but that still wasn't enough. So, loathe though she was to do it, she moved to the nursery while awaiting Brackenfang's kits.

Kit

Blizzardkit was a lone kit when he was born. The reason they thought there'd be more was his size. Even during his developement, he'd been big. Whitefrost told the Clan she named him for his pelt, but that wasn't the entire truth. With his birth, she gained the Clan's full trust and respect. She used this to her full advantage, and tried to turn her Clan against their rivals. Few listened to her, though, and she took out her frustrations on her kit.

She never beat him, of course. What good would he be then? She just treated him more as an apprentice than her son. When Blizzardkit was late or wasn't where he was supposed to be, he was denied food. When he talked back or was disrespectful, he was to care for the elders in place of the apprentices. Blizzardkit tried to do everything right, tried to earn his mother's genuine love. He didn't.

Then something awful, horrible, terrible, happened. At least in Whitefrost's mind it was horrible. A ThunderClan tom, named Rattail, had fallen in love with a MountainClan she-cat named Darkpelt. Darkpelt left MountainClan to join HawkClan and be with her mate. She moved directly to the nursery instead of the warriors den, already expecting kits. Whitefrost made her distaste of the little half-Clans and Darkpelt very, very, clear.

Two moons after she joined, Darkpelt birthed two she-kits: Shiningkit and Venomkit. Shiningkit inherited her paternal grandmother's pure white pelt and her mother's crystal blue eyes. Venomkit took after her father's dark gray pelt, with a splash of white on her throat. The first time Shiningkit opened her eyes, she walked right up to Blizzardkit and Whitefrost and meowed, "Hiya! I'm Shiningkit! You're Blizzardkit, right? Wanna be friends?"

Blizzardkit decided then and there that his mother was wrong about these particular half-Clans. He became inseparable from Shiningkit and Venomkit. They were best friends, playing together and relaxing together and being complete nuisances together. Whitefrost watched her hard work of the past two moons evaporate like dew in the sun as her kit grew closer and closer to the "half-Clan pieces of fox-dung". And since Shiningkit had been the catalyst, she decided that Shiningkit would take the brunt of her rage.

So began the epic enmity of queen and kit. Blizzardkit would watch helplessly as his mother and his best friend butted heads, arguing constantly and insulting each other. He had to give Shiningkit credit, she was spectacular when arguing. The day he became an apprentice two moons before his friends, he'd never felt so lonely.

Apprentice

To his surprise, his father was his mentor. Brackenfang, while not as anti-Shiningkit as his mate, was not at all happy that his son was perfectly fine knowing that his friends were not pure HawkClan. He kept him busy and working, hoping each and every day that Blizzardpaw would go straight to bed and not see the kits. Brackenfang's hopes were all for naught; Blizzardpaw refused to spend a whole 24-hours away from the two. If he was so tired that his paws were falling off, he'd sleep in the nursery with them and Darkpelt.

His continuing friendship with Shiningkit and Venomkit caused a rift between his parents. Where Brackenfang would prefer that Blizzardpaw wasn't friends with the two, Whitefrost downright wanted them gone. Them and their parents. She said, "They were both traitors, to their Clans and the warrior code. They don't deserve to live, let alone stay in the Clan!" Brackenfang, seemingly for the first time, realized the malice hidden in Whitefrost .

Blizzardpaw was happily oblivious to the tension of his parents. After Shiningpaw and Venompaw joined him in the apprentice den, life was good. It was the height of green-leaf; the prey was running and the Clan was healthy and mostly happy. He impressed his two friends with all that he'd learned from his father, hunting silently and acting out battle skills. When he was showing them his tree-climbing skills, the illusion was shattered. He fell from the branches and broke one of his legs. Venompaw, who'd always been the fastest, had to run back to the camp and get help. By the time the medicine cat came, Shiningpaw had already tried to construct a splint for his bone.

Whitefrost took this opportunity- for that was all she saw her son's accident as- to throw some heat at Shiningpaw. She screeched and yowled and howled at the apprentice, saying it was all her fault and that she'd been pressuring Blizzardpaw to jump. It wasn't true, of course, but no one except the apprentices would know and no one would expect any of them to tell the truth, for fear of getting into trouble.

Blizzardpaw spent two moons recovering in the medicine den. The incident had left within him a fear of heights. He refused to go climbing, and was quite happy with all four of his paws safely on the ground. Shiningpaw understood more than anyone, even Venompaw. For that, Blizzardpaw saw her in a new light. He saw how wonderful she really was, with her cheerful mischief and her friendly nature. He developed a crush on her, but went on as if he didn't feel anything but brotherly love for her.

A battle with StreamClan changed them. Those fox-hearted thieves had made another bid for some of HawkClan's territory, ambushing the patrol they were on. Venompaw was again sent for help while they fought. Blizzardpaw and Shiningpaw never strayed from one another, keeping their pelts barely brushing. Then they were separated by two StreamClan cats. Blizzardpaw watched, barely paying attention to his own opponent, as Shiningpaw's enemy went all-out. The dark gray tabby clawed and bit her until the rocks beneath her ran red.

Blizzardpaw felt his heart stop when he saw all the blood. Everyone else froze as well, and the two Clans separated. The medicine cat was called, but Blizzardpaw felt that Shiningpaw didn't have enough time to wait. He found some spare cobwebs nearby and pressed them against her wounds, begging and whispering for her to hold on. He told her to keep breathing, to listen to him, to talk to him. He told her he loved her. Then the medicine cat was there, and everything after that was a blur.

He walked, as if through a haze, back to camp. Venompaw was on one side of him and his father was on the other. They kept him steady and moving together. For once, Brackenfang didn't see Venompaw as half-Clan and Venompaw didn't see him as her best friend's mentor. He saw her as a valuable Clanmate, and as his son's friend. She saw him as her best friend's father, a cat who cared for his kit just like everyone else.

It was announced, later that night, that Shiningpaw would. And then Blizzardpaw was called forward to receive his warrior name.

He turned it down. He wanted to wait for Shiningpaw and Venompaw. He wanted them to get their warrior names at the same time. Whitefrost was livid. Right there, in the middle of the clearing, she flew at her son and tried to claw at him. She tried to bite him. She tried to kill him, her son, blood of her blood. Brackenfang pulled her off before any major damage could happen, and the Clan leader told Whitefrost to leave and never return.

She said she'd leave, but that she would return. She'd come back, and she'd get revenge. Oh, not on the Clan, they'd never done anything to earn her vengeance. No, she would avenge her loss on Shiningpaw. In Whitefrost's eyes, everything she'd lost had been Shiningpaw's fault. Her son, Shiningpaw's fault. Her mate, Shiningpaw's fault. Her Clan, Shiningpaw's fault. And so, Whitefrost was banished from HawkClan.

The pure white apprentice was unconscious for three days before waking up. The first thing she told Blizzardpaw was that she loved him too. They planned, then. They planned for the future, for their future, as mates and parents. Neither noticed Venompaw withdraw slightly, with the look of sadness in her eyes. Neither knew that Venompaw had developed a crush on Blizzardpaw as well. Neither knew that Venompaw had decided to let him go, for his own happiness.

Warrior

A few moons later, they received their warrior names at the same time. Blizzardshard was named because, though his life had fallen to pieces around him, he'd rebuilt his life the way he wanted it to. Venompaw was named Venomwind for her swiftness, both on her paws and in her thoughts. Shiningpaw received the name Shiningheart, because her heart shined with a light that none could never put out.

Their first challenge as warriors came on their first day out in the forest. Blizzardshard and Shiningheart had been on a walk, just enjoying each other's company, when they were attacked by Whitefrost. Blizzardshard was so surprised and shocked that he allowed Whitefrost to attack Shiningheart. The two she-cats exchanged blows and dialogue until Blizzardshard pulled himself together. Then he charged at Whitefrost and told her to leave. She asked, almost mockingly, why he wanted to hurt her. She was his mother. Blizzardshard replied stonily that he had no mother. Whitefrost left.

They lived as they would for another two seasons before Whitefrost made another attempt on Shiningheart's life. She led a band of rogues and loners, all who had a bone to pick with the Clans, to attack the camp. This time, the entire Clan fought to protect the half-Clan that they respected like a pure-blooded Clan cat. When Whitefrost was once again driven out, she took a souvenir with her: Brackenfang. During the battle, she'd persuaded him to leave with her. While he wasn't entirely happy to leave the Clan, he didn't put up much of a fight.

Everyone hoped that Whitefrost had gotten the picture. They hoped that she'd leave Shiningheart alone now, that she'd keep to the life of a rogue and never bother them again. How naive they were. Whitefrost made a third strike, now with enough cats to keep everyone busy while she sought out the half-Clan that had destroyed her life. Blizzardshard fought his way through the rogues and loners and came face to face with his father. For a few heart-beats that felt like an eternity, they stared at each other. In Brackenfang's eyes, Blizzardshard saw seasons' worth of regrets and pain.

Then the moment was over, and Brackenfang attacked. They fought, father and son, until Brackenfang finally lay dead at Blizzardshard's paws. When the rogues and loners were driven out, there were two more bodies in the clearing: Whitefrost. And Blizzardshard's beloved Shiningheart.

As strange as it was to mourn his father and not his mother, that's what Blizzardshard had done. He mourned for the lost moons of old, when he and Brackenfang had had a relationship that others could look at and admire. He mourned the loss of his parents, mourned the loss of his innocence. When he mourned for Shiningheart. It went for days. Throughout this entire period, Venomwind had been right beside him. He turned to her for comfort and support, and the she-cat readily gave it to him. He'd never been more grateful for her.

Compared to all of that, life got pretty tame. The two of them all got their first apprentices together, twins, named Shrewpaw and Cloudpaw. The leader had made good choices for both of them: Shrewpaw, hot-headed and stubborn, was paired with Venomwind, who could keep her cool in any situation. Cloudpaw, skittish and shy, was given to the patient and encouraging Blizzardshard.

Deputy

Later, their apprentices were both made warriors. Shrewpaw became Shrewtail and Cloudpaw was given the name Cloudwhisker. That same night as their ceremony, the deputy announced his retirement. He was old, and had been deputy since before Blizzardshard was even born. When the leader chose a new deputy, no one was more surprised than Blizzardshard when his name was called. There were some complaints about him being too young, too inexperienced. But for the most part, everyone was happy.

Leader

Time passed in a blur. Then, disaster struck the Clan. The leader had been leaving more and more of the daily running of the camp to Blizzardshard. He'd turned weak with age, and could barely get out of his nest these days. He passed silently in his sleep, and HawkClan welcomed Blizzardshard as their new leader.

Briarheart ✻ MistClan

Name

Briarheart

Reasoning

Unknown

Age

Thirty Six moons

Gender

She-cat

Alliance

MistClan

Rank

Medicine Cat

Physique

Short description

Brown tabby she-cat with white chest and paws

Physical description

No one but Briarheart will ever understand why she chose to follow the path of a medicine cat. She has the potential of being one of the best warriors the forest had ever seen. Her shoulders are thick and broad, an oddity for the usually thin and swift MistClan. Her legs are well-muscled from moons of digging through the earth to get to herbs, but her back legs are especially strong. She's a pretty good jumper, able to get higher in the air to bring down birds on the rare occasion when she's actually hunting.

Aside from that, she looks like an average cat. She has mostly brown fur, with white paws and a white chest. Like her mother, her pelt is medium-length. It's not much help in leaf-bare, but not much of a hindrance in greenleaf either. Her eyes are naturally narrowed and bright amber. When she looks into your eyes, you feel like she knows more about you than you do. It's kind of unnerving, really...

Personality

Positive: Friendly, Cheerful, Wise

Either inspite of or because of her position as medicine cat, Briarheart will make friends with anyone. Since borders don't really exist for medicine cats, that includes loners and kittypets. It doesn't matter to her whether your parents were from her Clan, an enemy Clan, outside of a Clan, or even if you're half-Clan. Your parents don't dictate how you live your life, or at the very least they shouldn't.

It takes a lot to bring Briarheart's mood down. Only when there's a death in the Clan will she be upset. From the moment she wakes up to the moment she goes to sleep, she has a smile on her face. Whether it's strained or whether it's only a small grin, you can always count on Briarheart to bring cheer to a small crowd. She's always happy, and her happiness is contagious when she wants it to be.

Because of her usual cheer and good will, a lot of cats tend to forget that she has walked with StarClan. If caught in the right mood, Briarheart can show wisdom beyond what her age would suggest. She speaks of destiny and fate and the will of StarClan, and that all anyone can really do in the end is pray and hope that everything will be better. She's one of those cats that thinks StarClan controls everything in life: The weather, the blessings, and even the tragedies. StarClan has a destiny planned for every cat, they just need to find it.

Negative: Easily distracted, Forgetful, Random

Briarheart usually needs to take someone out with her to collect herbs. Not because she can't defend herself! Oh no, even insinuating that is an insult and you shall be quickly proven wrong. The reason is that, one moment she's looking for borage or juniper berries, and the next she's trying to catch a butterfly or looking for shapes in the clouds. Briarheart is easily distracted. If she sees something from the corner of her eye, she'll follow after it until she finds out what it is.

And after she finds it, Briarheart will forget what she'd been doing. She'll look around where ever she is, blink, and wonder out loud, "What was I doing again?" It's not uncommon for warriors to find batches of herbs in the middle of the territory but no medicine cat. It's caused worry for her safety the first few times, but Briarheart always just laughs it off.

Anyone conversing with Briarheart should be prepared for confusion and headaches. Her thought process jumps around so much that one moment she'll be talking about the weather and next she'll be talking about what kind of shiny thing she'd found on an herb-gathering trip. It makes her sound really random, but it's also kind of amusing to watch.

The past

History

Before Life

It was amazing to everyone that Gorsewhisker and Rabbitleap could stand each other long enough to have kits. She was spirited and brave; he was skittish and nervous. They weren't friends, but they weren't enemies either. They were just familiar faces to each other. They had kits together only to help the Clan. Rabbitleap was a good cat, though. He stopped in the nursery at least once a day to see how Gorsewhisker was, checking to see if she needed anything. He brought her fresh-kill when she was hungry and water when she was thirsty.

He was with her when the belly pains came. He fetched the medicine cat immediately, who said she was going into labor half a moon early. But everything was going to be okay; it wasn't unknown for queens to give birth this early. There were only minor complications with the birthing process. The first to be born was the biggest, a black and white tomkit that they named Rootkit. Second born was Briarkit, a brown she-kit with a white chest and paws. Lastly to be born was a light-gray she-kit named Ravenkit.

Kit

Since Rootkit was both the oldest and the biggest, he had the most sway in what the trio would do. Briarkit was quite happy with this arrangement. She enjoyed the games her only brother came up with. Ravenkit, on the other hand, wanted to be leader. For some reason, she thought she knew better than her older siblings. Whatever decision Rootkit came up with, no matter how much fun it sounded like, Ravenkit would argue with.

Briarkit was often caught in the middle of their debates, and slowly became the mediator between them. She could calm Rootkit's temper with a soothing meow, and make Ravenkit keep her competitive side downplayed with a single look. It was noticed by the medicine cat as well, and soon he was inviting Briarkit into his den to help him with herbs. She was fascinated by all the herbs and knowledge, and asked questions constantly. It was only a moon before they were to be made apprentices when she said she wanted to be a medicine cat. Rootkit and Ravenkit didn't understand why she wanted to be around stinky old herbs, and for once they were in agreement: Briarkit had bees in her brain.

She tried to make them understand why she chose that path. She'd never have a mate or kits, but her whole Clan would be her family. She would take care of them in ways only medicine cats could. Heal wounds, banish sickness, speak with their lost Clanmates... Every time one of them came close to understanding, the other would pull them back. When six moons rolled around, she gave up. She'd chosen her fate, and who cared if her littermates didn't understand or like it?

Medicine Cat Apprentice

Briarpaw got her wish. She was made apprentice to Dewshade, the medicine cat at the time, while her littermates were made warrior apprentices. Dewshade was an intimidating cat. Not because of his size; he wasn't much bigger than a newly made warrior. It was his temper that made cats steer clear of him. He'd been trained as a warrior first before an accident forced him into being a medicine cat. His back leg was mangled. He never liked to talk about it, so Briarpaw had to hear the story second hand.

He'd been a newly made warrior on a high from finally getting his warrior name, and wandering the territory on his own when he'd heard a cry for help. A kit, not from the Clan, was trapped in the center of a group of boulders. Dewshade had gone to help, but one of the boulders he'd stepped on was wobbly and he fell, with it following after him. A hunting patrol nearby heard his screech of pain and found him with his leg crushed under the boulder. The kit had run away as soon as it was able to, and Dewshade was forced to either retire or become the medicine cat.

After hearing that story from an elder, Briarpaw's respect for the tom grew. She tried not to be as scatter-brained and actually listen when he spoke. This had been her wish, hadn't it? Just because he was grumpy didn't mean he wasn't worth listening to. Dewshade noticed her new-found determination and correctly guessed the reason for it.

The two formed a bond that actually amused a lot of cats. Briarpaw mellowed out Dewshade's temper when he was feeling bad and she actually grew to have a brain. They were fond of each other, that was for sure. If they hadn't been medicine cats, there was little doubt they would have become mates. But both were too loyal to their code to even consider it.

Briarpaw's relationship with her siblings didn't improve, but it didn't worsen either. When they argued, she was still the mediator between the two. That didn't say anything for their relationship with each other. They rarely came to blows over anything they fought over, though. The one time they did, both came to the medicine den with scratches all over. Dewshade later said the kits in HawkClan could hear Briarpaw's angry screeching.

It was funny for the next two moons. Every time the pair saw Briarpaw approach them, they either scurried to hide behind someone or dropped whatever argument they were currently in and forced niceties to each other. Briarpaw took full advantage of it whenever she could, which was pretty much whenever she wasn't doing things for Dewshade and they weren't out training with their own mentors. When the trio were 12 moons old, they got their warrior names.

Rootpaw became Rootflight for his speed, how he seemed to almost fly across the land, and Ravenpaw was named Ravenmist. Briarpaw, despite her problems with the two, cheered louder than anyone at the time. It would take 10 more moons for her to get her medicine cat name, Briarheart.

Medicine Cat

For seasons, she and Dewshade worked side by side to guide and heal the Clan. They had their spats and their laughs, like all mentors and apprentices. Though Briarheart was now a full medicine cat, she still acted like a kit sometimes. More than once, Dewshade had had warriors bring him random piles of herbs they'd found on the territory. There was a bit of panic the first few times about where Briarheart was, but when she came back to camp confused about the buzz, it was eventually dropped.

Life was good, up until she turned 28 moons old. A large force of StreamClan cats had been spotted coming towards the camp and MistClan went to meet it. Dewshade, at 50 moons, went with them to care for any wounds. Briarheart didn't really protest too much, sure that she'd see him again afterwards. It was against the warrior code to attack medicine cats, after all.

Either someone in StreamClan didn't recognize him until it was too late or they weren't all that fussed about angering StarClan. Dewshade was among the dead bodies. It hit Briarheart hard, but she wasn't the only one suffering. Friends lost friends, siblings lost siblings, and mates lost mates.

It was during this time that Briarheart's true skill as a medicine cat shined through. Though many died at the battle, no more died afterwards. She was able to patch everyone up and save her Clanmates. After moons of bickering about her decision, Rootflight and Ravenmist finally shut the hell up about her becoming a medicine cat and just chilled with it.

Ferretflight ✻ HawkClan

Name

Ferretflight

Reasoning

Ferret- born rather thin and scrawny, much like a ferret. Long
-flight- very skilled in jumping long distances and maneuvering through treetops.

Age

Twenty Eight moons

Gender

she-cat

Alliance

HawkClan

Rank

Warrior

Physique

Short description

Tiny white she-cat with brown and black splotches.

Physical description

Ferretflight’s fur is predominantly a snowy white. Here and there are splashes of tabby; some of these splashes are a dark brown pattern, while others are more of an amber. A large splotch scrawls over her lower back and envelops her tail, ending with a dark brown – almost black – tip. Another splash falls on the back of her head and spills over onto her face, covering one eye. The back is dark, covered her ears in a chocolate brown, while the tabby over her face is lighter, almost golden in color. Two strikingly gold eyes sit above a candy pink nose.

One of Ferretflight’s most notable features is her size; she was the runt of the litter and it still shows. While her body has filled out some since her birth, she’s still very small in stature. She also looks very young. Her size allows her to maneuver very easily through narrow spaces, and her light weight and strong hind legs allow her to propel herself through the air. She’s great at climbing, but her shorter limbs (in comparison to other cats) make it difficult for her to fight well paw-to-paw.

Create Your Character ItsCh6 I didn't forget xD

Personality

DBrazen. It’s the first word that comes to mind. Perhaps it’s to make up for her size, or perhaps it’s because she can’t fight well physically, but Ferretflight is stubborn and harsh-tongued. When she’s made up her mind, that’s about it, and unless you’re an absolute master of persuasion, you can’t change it. This she-cat is very set in her ways and doesn’t take criticism well (which, as you can imagine, made her apprenticeship difficult). But while she might be a pain, she is loyal to the end; her heart belongs to HawkClan above all else. She may spit and hiss about orders she doesn’t agree with, but Ferretflight would never turn on her leader’s word. She has a soft spot for kits, although she doesn’t really show it. However, she fears she wouldn’t make a very good mother, and doesn’t intend to have some of her own anytime soon.

The past

History

Something went pretty wrong with the pregnancy, and what was meant to be a litter of three turned out to be just one, scrawny she-kit. Mother Maplefoot was devastated at the loss of her kits, but still did her best to be a decent mother to her newborn child. Father Oakfall, however, had spent so long fantasizing over teaching his young toms to fight and hunt in the name of HawkClan that the birth of a single spindly little girl was little better than a disappointment. Rather than staying close to his mate during the hard times after the pregnancy, he distanced himself from both Maplefoot and the newborn Ferretkit. The she-kit grew up not on particularly bad terms with her father, but with a relationship that felt more like regular irrelevant Clanmates than family.

The she-cat grew up consistently trying to prove herself to be worthy of someone's love. She always made her mother proud, but she wanted the Clan to know that she wasn't a waste of space. Ferretpaw pushed herself hard in her apprenticeship. She excelled in hunting and climbing with her light weight and nimble paws, but fighting practice was always a struggle. She tried and tried, but it never really came naturally to her, and even when she improved, she was still behind the other apprentices. She earned her warrior name nonetheless, but her weaknesses still weigh on her mind constantly, explaining why she gets so agitated as soon as someone points them out. Ferretflight fights daily to be the best Clan cat she can; she serves with all that she has, even if all that she has may not always be enough in her eyes.

Tallwhisker ✻ MountainClan

Name

Tallwhisker

Reasoning

tall- he was born spindly and long-legged (as is still that way today).
-whisker- as he grew, his whiskers also turned out to be rather long. he is also very observant and can detect little movements.

Age

Thirty Five moons

Gender

Tom

Alliance

MistClan

Rank

Warrior

Physique

Short description

Tall tortoiseshell tom with green eyes.

Physical description

Tallwhisker's pelt is that of the tortoiseshell sort. It is mottled with black and brown and tan, all coming together to paint one bright (and somewhat reminiscent of a particular type of fudge) pelt. Black is the most predominant color in the mixture, engulfing most of his tail and back as well as part of his face. The very tips of his toes are white, like little gloves.

As his name suggests, Tallwhisker is very...Well, tall. Really, really tall. He's about half of a (cat) head taller than most of the warriors in his clan, and he looms over the figures of kits and apprentices. His legs are long and skinny; it's a wonder that they don't snap when a kit pounces on him. His whole frame is rather thin actually, and with his short fur, it's a wonder that he survives through the leaf-bare.

Create Your Character CloQ7O

Personality

Tallwhisker is very calm and soft-spoken. His few words are very quiet and meek; if you were to hear him speak before you saw him, you'd be surprised that the voice and cat matched each other. He is calm and collected in most situations, as well as thoughtful and kind. He can get rather emotional at times, but in moments of heavy sorrow or rage he prefers to keep to himself. He expresses joy more with a soft smile and a nod. As a mate, he would be rather affectionate, but he would still only speak when words were needed. He is often very afraid about never finding a mate due to his sterility, and his love for kits makes his condition even more painful, but he comforts himself by spending a lot of time in the nursery.

He is very loyal to his clan and would never turn on the cats he call family, but he thinks for himself and will do all he can not take orders that go against his own philosophy. Tallwhisker prefers to abstain from conflict and keep the peace (recent events between the clans have been a great source of stress for him). The tom isn't one to start an argument, but he will make his opinion known when necessary for the sake of morality.

The past

History

"Great StarClan, this last one's like a spider!" the medicine cat exclaimed as he delivered the final kit from Rosepetal. Her mate, Toadleap, thought Spiderkit was a fitting name, but Rosepetal was a very headstrong sort of femme, and there was no way she was naming her child after some creepy creature like a spider. She settled on Tallkit for the spindly little tom, and Frogkit for his stockier brother.

Frogkit was a bit more lively than Tallkit could handle, so the quiet tom usually just kept to himself and watched the sky while his brother played with the other kits. Life was rather normal and comfortable. However, this wasn't Rosepetal's and Toadleap's first litter; she was growing old. During their moons of apprenticeship, the two brothers' mother passed from a nasty case of greencough that her old body couldn't shake. The 'paws were still distant from each other, but they could empathize with each other during the time of mourning.

Tallpaw soon became Tallwhisker, and Frogpaw took the name of Frogbelly. Tallwhisker was well-renowned for his excellent tracking skills and kind demeanor, but his brother was much more jubilant and loud, and found a mate soon after earning his warrior name. Tallwhisker watched Frogbelly fall in love and become a father to four. He was more than overjoyed for his brother and he would frequently visit the nursery to check on and play with his newborn nieces and nephews. Nonetheless, the towering tom-cat couldn't help but feel an inkling of a want for that sort of companionship and love. But, being the cat that he was, he kept quiet and smiled on. He knew he could never be a father, but perhaps a she-cat would love him someday nonetheless.

Troutpaw ✻ StreamClan

Name

Troutpaw

Reasoning

Trout- he was a rather wiggly kitten coming out of the womb. Very, very wiggly. Like a fish. Like a trout.

Age

Eight moons

Gender

Tom

Alliance

StreamClan

Rank

Apprentice

Physique

Short description

Small silver tom with turquoise eyes

Physical description

Considering Troutpaw has only recently become an apprentice, it's no surprise he's quite small. That being said, I must admit he's still pretty dang smallish. Smaller than most of the cats his age, anyways. He gets mistaken for a kit sometimes. Not that he would correct anyone or anything. But honestly, if gatherings were still a thing, other clans might see him and think that StreamClan was starting to train earlier than the warrior code allows. I digress; one way or another, he'll grow up to be close to average size. Perhaps just a bit shorter, but not by much.

As far as fur goes, he's your standard gray tabby. His fur is generally muted in color; there are some hints of tan mixed in with the gray, but with tabby stripes that just barely contrast from the rest of his fur, he just sort of looks like a non-descript swirling gray-and-white mess. He's pretty average, honestly. He'll grow up to be an average-looking tom-cat, not really standing out based on appearance (or anything else for that matter). At least he has his eyes going for him. Kind of. They're a muted turquoise, almost perfectly centered between green and blue. And they're pretty to look at, honestly. If you can get the kid to make eye contact, that is.

Personality

This poor apprentice is a sobbing mess half of the time. Troutpaw is afraid of almost anything. Birds? The flapping of wings has him terrified. Climbing trees? He's scared stiff at the roots. Snakes? Are you trying to give him a heart attack? Hell, he's spooked when fish jump out of the water. StarClan forbid the day he goes into a real battle; just training for him leaves him trembling (and also quite bruised). Eye contact makes him uncomfortable, as well as physical touch by anyone but his mother. Most of his steps are taken with shaky paws, and his little pupils are constantly darting back and forth to search for danger (i.E. An unexpected scuttling mouse).

That being said, Troutpaw is loyal to his clan and the warrior code. You'd never catch him so much as speaking to a cat over the border without express permission from a warrior. (also, cats from the other clans are scary. Especially MountainClan.) Loners make him uncomfortable, because he really doesn't understand them. He might not be good at hunting, but he's got a great nose on him; he can recognize scents easily and track them with some sort of ease. So at least there's that. Otherwise, this poor little tom is one mishap after another, and he's all too aware of him. He's constantly frustrated with his own ineptitude, but there's not much he can really do about it.

Troutpaw also has a tendency to be a bit clingy to anyone who will call him their friend. At the same time, he's afraid of bothering the cats around him. So he's kind of in this constant internal battle of whether he should risk talking to cats or not.

He's really just a mess.

The past

History

Yellowfoot gave birth early in her warriorhood. She and Gullwing had been particularly close during their time as apprentices, and her pregnancy was announced less than a moon after they received their warrior names. They were young and neither of them really knew what they were doing. Runningkit was easy to handle: a pretty little she with lots of spunk and a fire to serve her clan. They didn't really know what to do with Troutkit, though. He was a late walker. He barely left the den to play with the other kits because their mossball games were "scary." Yellowfoot would do her best to nudge him out to do things, and she was good about making him feel safe. Gullwing was always a little gruff, though, and Troutkit never really felt accepted by his father. Other than that, though, family life was pretty normal. Both of the kits went on to receive their warrior names at six moons, as per usual. Troutpaw is still pretty uncomfortable around his father and often clings to his mother for guidance and comfort.

Cherrypaw ✻ MistClan

Cherrypaw

cherry- for her warm, dark reddish-brown fur.

Age

Gender

Alliance

MistClan

Rank

Apprentice

Physique

Short description

Red-brown she-cat with blue eyes.

Physical description

What a precious little fluffball! Cherrypaw's kitten body is covered in dark reddish-brown fur; the color is warm and rich and inviting. There are places in her coat that fade to a darker color, closer to a warm black. The black fur is predominantly on her face and the backs of her ears, but it appears slightly on her paws and tail. Her fur is relatively long, often fluffing out in times of stress to make her look twice her size. Between short white whiskers is a small black nose, and above that are two crystal blue eyes. How lovely.

Beneath the coat is a rather average build. Cherrypaw is at a normal size for her age. If anything, she is erring on the broad side though she will grow up to be just slightly smaller than the average warrior. But the muscle rippling beneath her skin will make up for any lack of size she has now or then.

Create Your Character Cherrypaw_zpsssukw7h4

Personality

This little she-cat won't take no for an answer. Cherrypaw is collected and confident, and will work to get things as she thinks they ought to be. It's good that she can assert herself and that she has the willpower to stand up for what she believes in, but she can sometimes get herself into trouble by stating her mind at the worst of times. She also has a hard time realizing or admitting she's wrong in the midst of a debate, although after the fact she may apologize for not seeing her error initially.

Cherrypaw takes a great deal of pride in her MistClan heritage, and has a particular distaste for the other clans and especially for loners and kittypets; she is a firm believer that the clan life is the best life, and convincing her otherwise is likely impossible. She has happily devoted her life to the warrior code and, subsequently, the protection of her clan and her family. She adores her two siblings and won't allow any cat to hurt them physically or emotionally. At the very least, any bullies or actual enemies won't get away without some bruises. Her stubbornness and headstrong attitude can be a bit much at times, but ultimately she uses it to serve her clan.

The past

History

The history of Cherrypaw and her family is quite average. Rabbitfoot and Amberpool were best friends from their apprenticeship on, so the clan wasn't terribly surprised when the two began to get rather cuddly in their warriorhood. It wasn't terribly long before Amberpool's pregnancy was announced and she moved into the queen den. The pregnancy went rather smoothly, and after some time she gave birth to three beautiful kittens: Cherrykit, ____kit, and ____kit.(Anyone wanna play them?) Cherrykit was quite a brash and daring little kit from the time she could walk, often getting herself into trouble with her loud mouth or by wandering off without permission. In the end, though, she was always a decently-behaved kit, and the family was quite happy. Rabbitfoot and Amberpool looked on with pride as the three children earned the -paw suffixes to their names, all eager to begin their warrior training. All would make wonderful additions to the clan's ranks.

Physique

Short description

Long-haired grey she-cat

Physical description

Ternpaw is a rather pretty she-cat, there's no denying that. The challenge is making her see it. Her steady diet of fish is the only reason she never gets waterlogged when she swims or when it rains or when she goes swimming. If she didn't live eat fish, she'd probably take forever to dry off after a rainy day. Her fur is long and silky, perfectly fitting for a pure-blooded StreamClan cat. It's a gray shade that, in the right lighting, seems to have a dusty brown tinge to it.

She has a dash of white on her chest and chin, but there's a thicker back up on her throat that draws more attention than the other two patches. Ternpaw has light green eyes and her nose is pure black. It matches the pads on all four of her paws. Her front two paws are white, but the back two are the same color as the rest of her.

Create Your Character 2427644927_dc50286874_b

Personality

Positive: Hard-working, Good listener, Motherly

Ternpaw isn't the strongest or the brightest, but she tries to make up for it by staying out longer, from sun-high to moon-high. She goes to sleep each night exhausted, but it's worth it to see the pride in her father's eyes when she brings home more prey than her denmates.

She's a good friend to have if you just need to rant and rave about things no one else in their right mind would care about. Ternpaw will just sit there with a calm face and pricked ears. She usually knows exactly what to say to make cats feel better, about themselves or a situation they find themselves in. It's an instinct, to sooth and support whoever needs her. She once entertained the thought of maybe becoming a medicine cat due to this instinct, but she doesn't have a head for herbs or a talent for healing.

And besides that, if she did become a medicine cat, she wouldn't be able to have kits. Ever since she was young, she'd known she wanted kits. She'd always been the one to kit-sit for the younger kittens, the ones who were just born and weren't big enough to participate in the rougher games. Even now that she's an apprentice, taking care of the young ones is her favorite thing to do, more so than training or hunting.

Negative: Perfectionist, Self-conscious, Opinionated

"That's not good enough." Come on, you can do better than that." "What was that? A kit could do better!" Ternpaw is hard on herself. She won't accept anything less than perfection, even if everyone else thinks that just her doing her best is good enough. Which is it, considering she's rather good at fighting and hunting, but Ternpaw won't hear of it. If she gets a sloppy kill, she berates herself and stays out even longer to make up for it.

Despite wanting to have kits when she's older, Ternpaw often wonders what kind of tom would look twice at her. She doesn't think very highly of her physical appearance, believing that there are a bajillion things wrong with her. Her eyes are too dull, her fur is too long, her paws are too big... Ternpaw doesn't have much hope for the often sought for happily ever after. A loving and loyal mate who completes her and kits that go to her for advice even after they've left the nursery.

What others call 'annoying as shit', Ternpaw calls 'helping others improve'. Since Ternpaw puts so much work into her training, she expects others to work just as hard. If she spots a mistake or something wrong, she'll let the other know almost immediately, depending on the situation. Like, if your weight isn't centered when you're stalking a bird, she'll wait until you either catch it or miss it before pointing it out. She annoys a lot of cats with it, but none more so than Finchpaw. She just kind of brushes off his annoyance by saying "I'm your sister, I'm supposed to annoy you."

The past

History

Before Life

Spidernose and Snowfeather were opposites in every way imaginable. Spidernose was a calm and patient warrior, black in color who preferred standing back and observing rather than participating. Snowfeather on the other hand was impulsive and bold, preferring to be in the thick of the action and think on her paws. While they hadn't exactly grown up together, they spent enough time in the same dens to be aware of each other. He was five moons older than her, so he was already close to being an apprentice when she was born and becoming a warrior when she turned 6 moons.

Despite their differences, it was like they completed each other. They had opposite mind sets, yet could complete each other's sentences and could communicate without speaking. Snowfeather was the first to fall, developing a crush on him when he helped her with her training even after he became a warrior. Poor Snowpaw had no idea what to do with her affections and feelings, and usually ended up making a complete fool of herself and running away in embarrassment. It amused Spidernose greatly, and he took great joy in tormenting her for his own amusement.

Once she became Snowfeather, though, pretenses were dropped and Spidernose asked her to become his made, a decision that she leaped right into accepted. By the end of her 20th moon, she was expecting kits.

Kit

It was an uneventful day when Snowfeather gave birth. She'd been restless for the few days before, and the medicine cat had confined her to her nest. No one was with her when the belly pains came, not even the other queens and kits that shared the den with her. She had to yowl nice and loud for someone to get the medicine cat. By the end of the day, Snowfeather and Spidernose were the proud parents of two tiny kittens.

The older one was a she-kit, with Spidernose's darker colored fur but had Snowfeather's more stocky build. Snowfeather was the one to name her Ternkit, saying she'd always wanted to have a child named Ternkit. The second born was a tom, with Snowfeather's white pelt. But he was smaller than his sister, and it took the medicine cat a few minutes to get him breathing before he started squeaking and mewling. They named him Finchkit, for his undersized build.

They thought that, since she was bigger and he was smaller, that Ternkit would be the dominant siblings. They couldn't have been more wrong. Ternkit was the quiet one, always willing to stay back and watch the Clan go about it's daily business. It was Finchkit who got under everyone's paws, begging to go out into the forest and asking what the other Clans were life. Ternkit was always quietly amused at his antics and encouraged him in her own silent way.

As for her parents, Ternkit was daddy's little girl. She loved curling up with Spidernose and listening to his soothing voice tell her stories. Snowfeather knew her only daughter favored her father, but she was alright with it. So long as her little family was happy, she was content. Life was rather happy and normal for them, up until they reached their sixth moon.

Apprentice

Ternpaw and Finchpaw became apprentices. Snowfeather went back to warrior duties. She and Spidernose are just as in love now as they were back then. No horrible battle happened to rip them apart, no outbreak of sickness effected them, and no crippling accident effected them. The most I can say is that Finchpaw has loudly been begging Snowfeather and Spidernose for some baby siblings. Ternpaw secretly hopes for some as well, but isn't as obvious about it as her brother.

His ears are free of nicks, and his black coat is perfect, continuous shade of black except for a single hind leg, which is white with soft, cute pink paw pads. The rest of his pads are black, as well as his nose. His eyes are as expected for most black cats: a beautiful shade of amber yellow.

Personality

This tom is rather incredibly lucky. He always seems to pick good hunting spots, and the day he became a Warrior he found one of the largest rabbits of the season and caught it. There's rumors among his clanmates that his white foot gives his luck, but for the most part he resents the idea. Definitely a cat of logic and pride in one's skill, he'd hate to chalk anything up to luck. He's constantly trying to prove himself and get his name to mean more than just one stupid paw-- he's resented his name since he was an apprentice. Cottonfoot is also a cat of curiousity: the idea of eating fish or even a frog doesn't make his nose wrinkle like most cats. He's desperate to find out more from the world, more than just the superstitions and whispers of the ancestors that the rest of the clan's follow blindly.

The past

History

Cottonfoot's parents are both born into MistClan, but somewhere in his blood, one of his ancestors was half clan. Once, a cat from MistClan secretly had kits with a StreamClan cat, and never told them of the father. This is why his fur is so thick and fluffy, completely unlike most of his clan. Growing up was rather simple for him, though being named Cottonpaw, then Cottonfoot, made him feel like he was more like some lucky rabbit than a Warrior. His siblings were much sleeker and smaller than him, with short course fur that made him look even more out of place. As kits, he and his littermates all came down with green-cough, killing his sister. His brother struggled to survive, becoming an apprentice a whole moon after her. Easily the strongest of his litter, he's proven herself time and time again as a skilled hunter, and has grown into a brilliant young warrior for his Clan.

Mudpaw ✻ StreamClan

Name

Mudpaw

Reasoning

For his complete mess of a fur coat, and it's muddy brown color.

Age

Nine moons

Gender

Tom

Alliance

StreamClan

Rank

Apprentice

Physique

Short description

Muddy brown tabby tom with a messy coat.

Physical description

Mudpaw has thick, brown tabby fur. It sticks out in every way imaginable, and always has. Despite his mother's attempts to groom him, and great Starclan, teach him how to groom himself, Mudpaw always managed to make his fur worse when trying to clean himself. His tail is fairly short, and the least fluffy part of his body, often slick with water or mud that makes it look even smaller. His eyes are a keen, common shade of yellow, and his face is a thin, angular triangle shape. However, despite how thin he seems in the face, his body is that of a kitten about to grow into a monster of a cat. He has huge paws, broad shoulders and haunches, and once he grows into his fur he'll be a rather large tom.

Personality

Mudpaw is a clumsy, messy kitten. Surprisingly, he doesn't get himself into much trouble except for with the clan elders. He trips over his own paws half the time, and always ends up covered in mud. His mother says he does it on purpose, and maybe he does. He has some sense though, and can be quiet as a mouse when there's danger, and surprisingly still when he needs to be. When he does move, though, that's when he gets in trouble. This young apprentice is a natural in the water, absolutely in love with swimming, and not surprisingly he's always dripping wet with something. Out of water, he's still just like a fish, clumsy and rather useless. He doesn't care much for hunting the usual StreamClan way-- waiting for a fish to come by and batting it out of the water-- but rather enjoys catching fish with his teeth, swimming and snapping them up when they swim by. He's great at it too! He's pretty awful at listening, and makes for a difficult apprentice, but he tries to do good by his heart. He doesn't disobey on purpose, but rather is forgetful and shortsighted in his thoughts.

The past

History

Mudpaw's kithood was in all respects rather quiet compared to most. Despite his rather frequent slipping away to catch a swim as a kit, he was otherwise a kit most queens would count themselves lucky to have. He was obedient and quiet, never strayed too far from camp, and never a picky eater or anything. Since he was born he was ready to swim, practically, and water was the one thing you couldn't keep him away from. His mother was lax, and his father he never knew. The tom had died before he was born, and after a few moons of life Mudpaw recognized how much his father's death had hurt his mother. He has a sister- Minnowpaw, who is much more of a prankster and trouble maker, but unlike his clumbsy paws, she has always been graceful and attentive. Being her older brother by a few moments, Mudpaw always lead the way and sought to protect her. He had been the one to teach her to swim when his mother grew ill at 4 moons old- she had been too scared prior, her mother never wanting to push the kits in case they got hurt and she lost them. His mother was sick for three whole moons, forced to miss her kits apprentice ceremony, and then died in her sleep. Minnowpaw has surpassed him in training, but perhaps only because Mudpaw has had too much on his mind and too little focus on his duties. He still feels like a kit-- his mentor hasn't taken that from him yet-- and his heart is still lost in the rivers and streams that pour into the lake.

Spiderwhisker ✻ MoutainClan

Name

Spiderwhisker

Reasoning

Spider for her small size and the way the white flecks on her pelt look a fair bit like cobwebs. Whisker for her short whiskers and thin build.

Age

Fifteen moons

Gender

She-cat

Alliance

MountainClan

Rank

Warrior

Physique

Short description

Tiny tabby she-cat with splotches.

Physical description

Spiderwhisker is a TINY cat. Appearing like an apprentice with her size and huge ears, the only thing proving she's more or less done growing is the size of her dainty paws and thin, half-sized whiskers. Her olive eyes take up most of her face, always staring at whoever speaks to her, with a intimidating glow to them.

Although she's mostly a tabby, she has both dark grey and orange fur in her coat, with a white underbelly. Her almost black fur is covered in flecks of white, appearing like cobwebs or snowflakes in her fur. There's a lot more grey than orange, but the soft patches of creamy orange show up brightly in splashes on her face and shoulders. She has a single black dot on her otherwise white muzzle, with a nose that's half pink, half blackish purple.

Being a short hair, her fur is barely taken care of but always looks fairly neat. Her tail is about as long as she is, though it's thin and whip-like. As mentioned, her whiskers are shorter than one would expect, and bright white. Her claws are long and sharp, often poking out of her paws even when she has them sheathed-- and her teeth are just as sharp.

Create Your Character Cat_3_by_chasmdeep-d6ky06w

Personality

Scrawny but vicious, Spiderwhisker is a true MountainClan cat. Like a noble woman, she is cunning and conniving, using her friendships and relationships to simply gain more power within her clan. All while maintaining the appearance of a weak, clueless, inexperienced she-cat. She can be smooth like honey, but also sharp like a thorn. This cat is not the kind you want to get on the bad side of, not that you'd likely know you have until it's too late.

She speaks softly, but her voice demands attention. She holds herself with confidence and always meets the eyes of those she talks to, unless she wishes them to think she is bored of them. She's a cat that hides her true intentions from all, and can be incredibly greedy at times. Her heart is closed off-- if a tom wanted her, it would be impossible for him not to get swept up in her plans. Usually, however, she shows disinterest in toms and often brushes them off, finding it easier to manipulate a cat that thinks he might have a chance if he just pleases her a bit more.

If she did make a friend, a true friend, one who saw her for who she was an embraced it, perhaps she would trust them. A cat who got this close to her would find an all too loyal cat, one who would do the darkest of deeds to save their fur. As of right now, however, she's a cat who lives on her own and is incredibly independent. Everything she does for the clan is for her own sake, though she does her best to keep up the act.

The past

History

Spiderwhisker has two brothers who she grew up with, and has always been the smallest of the litter. She probably always will be, but regardless. Named Spiderkit by her mother, she always felt incredibly picked on when she was sent out to collect cobwebs, and often would rather prefer pulling ticks from elders than go looking for spiderwebs for the medicine cat.

She grew up during a dark time, however. Having been born just over a cycle ago, her kithood was filled with the horrors of the clan fighting and infighting, and even as an apprentice she knew she would have to train hard to keep up with the others and stay alive. Spiderpaw also learned fairly quickly that most cats underestimated her, and very early learned to be distrustful and manipulative to get her way.

Her brothers became warriors before her, as she failed her apprentice test where they passed. She knew her mentor was simply holding her back because she was too small and she was worried for her in case the war intensified, but her fighting skills were perfect. She was ready.

A few moonhighs later, her mentor died in a rather freak accident with a twoleg dog while out with Spiderpaw. She became incredibly quiet during this time, taking on a closed off, emotionally-shelled personality afterwards. She was given a new mentor, and after a moon training under him, she became a warrior, and she's never looked back.
