Better known as 'the park,' Ainsworth Park is a lush rectangular escape from reality set more or less in the middle of the city. Citizens like to say that Central Park in New York was modeled after it; the truth is they were both conceived around the same time, though Central Park was built first. A small lake sits in the middle, surrounded by footpaths, trees, and huge lawns of grass; benches and smaller bushes are interspersed liberally, and provide an excellent place to hang out. The park is not walled, and as a result general maintenance is carried out three times a day (though usually only consisting of litter clean-up). The park was included in BoneClan territory prior to the move, and it is acknowledged as a space open to all cats simply because it would be impossible to enforce isolation. There is no question that it belongs to BoneClan, however, a fact that has always riled up other city cats that feel the space should be free of allegiances. The end of Ainsworth Park marks the end of BoneClan territory to the East.
